Shoba elopes with Kalabhavan Mani and they get married. Shobaӳ father gets agitated and severs one of Kalabhavan Maniӳ legs. Years pass by, Jayaram (Shobaӳ brother) goes to meet his sister but finds out that Mani is awaiting to take vengeance with Shobaӳ family. So he stays as a stranger is their house. The aftermath is the rest of the movie.
